Yeah, its a lot of vendor glue, thats basically the job. Outside of work I run Rusticaland, a Rust gaming community with four dedicated servers, been going over 10 years now. Built a lot of custom tooling for it over the years - an anticheat system called NERV, an autonomous ops agent called RusticalandOPS, a management script called rustmgr.sh. Its all under a projects folder at H:\\RUSTICALANDPROJECTS on my machine. Rusticaland infrastructure runs on my personal Proxmox host now, migrated off a rented OVH dedicated box a while back.
